Christopher Shipman will read from his new book of poems, Human-Carrying Flight Technology, and Angus Woodward will read from his new comic novel, Americanisation: Lessons in American Culture and Language.
You can begin the New Year in flight when you soar above, under, and around America as a consequence of, as a result of, at the hands of, because of, by the dint of, by means of, by the agency of, through the medium of, by virtue of, for the life of, for the love of, for the death of, through the ghost of, with the help of American culture, language and life: Good poetry and fiction!
The reading will begin at 7pm at Chelsea’s Café (small bar), 2857 Perkins Road, Baton Rouge LA 70808. Books will be available for purchase and there will be a signing following the reading.
