Alison is the author of "Big Muddy River of Stars," winner of the Akron Poetry Prize; as well as "The Zydeco Tablets"; and three prize-winning chapbooks, most recently Voodoo Lips and Squeezers. Individual poems have appeared in Poetry, Ploughshares, The Southern Review, Shenandoah, Poetry Daily and The Writer's Almanac. She ...earned an MFA from the University of Arkansas, and is the recipient of an Individual Artist Fellowship from the Louisiana Division of the Arts. Vince is the author of "An Easy Place/To Die," newly out from CityLit. His poetry and reviews have appeared in Exquisite Corpse, the New Orleans Review, and moira. He received his MFA in Poetry from LSU and runs River Writers, another Baton Rouge reading series.

Presently teaching English at Southeastern Louisiana University, she lives in Mandeville, Louisiana with her husband, Bryan Davidson, and their two young sons, Ben and Sam.
