ThoughtCrime will proceed monthly on the third Thursday of every month.
Why:
The majority of poetry shows in Houston are either open mic oriented or are focused around an occasion or event. Houston needs a monthly performance where the best poets of our city are showcased in a manner that allows them to gain greater national exposure.
How:
15 minute featured spoken word performances with host-lead question and answer sessions after each performance. Audience participation will be encouraged throughout. Some performances will be recorded and posted on the web. Also photo coverage is encouraged.
